    At Last!

And so, after some prodding from my good friend Josian, I have finally joined Renspace! A little bit about me would be in order, mayhap?

My name is Charity, and I am the daughter of Fredrick, who owns the Raven's Fool Inn/Tavern in Shropshire. I am 18, and as yet unbetrothed and unclaimed, thanks to the fact that my father wishes me to stay and help at the inn instead of getting married. My main duties are to help in the kitchen and entertain the guests with music in the evenings.

Singing is my chief joy, and I have a fair voice (at least I am told). So I entertain every night at the tavern, and we have seen more and more customers lately. Though I always manage to convince my father to let me go to faires, where I sing and sometimes get tips.

So, now you know more about me! I look forward to meeting others soon!

    How goes it, Miss Charity?

Aye, and god speed upon thy quest! I, too, am of a similar persuasion, though my master grows irate when I should pursue it. And the ladies of the court... need I say more? They scorn me oft for worthier men. Now I must be off, or I shall catch a whipping for sure. God den!

Well met, good mistress, and god`s greetings unto thee. A singer, art thou? I, likewise, can sing a merry tune. My master tells me I have a fine voice, yet the ladies of the court tell me to "cease my warbling, for the love of Mary". It does me good to meet another of the like profession, for my heart doth melt to a lady who sings. Unmarried? No doubt a local beau will come a-calling in due time. I must be off, for duty calls. A pleasure making your aquaintance. Be well, fair maid.

    Godspeed!
